Amazing sushi spot - great prices for super fresh fish. The salmon hand rolls are generous. I love the baked salmon roll, and many of their exotic house rolls. Many local sushi places are overpriced with teeny tiny rolls, but not this place, the rolls are huge and extremely filling. I can usually make two meals out of 1 order and always have leftovers for lunch the next day. If you go in person, the ambiance is nice and it's a great place for a night out or a date night. Highly recommend!

Some of the best if not the best sushi spot in the bay! Definitely one of my new favorite spots to go to. I went to Sen Dai for the first time with a group of 4. It's a very unassuming spot from the outside, located in a small strip mall next to a donut shop with hardly any decor going for it. The inside opened up to a fairly low seating and decently dim restaurant, with both a bar area and tables for seating. It wasn't cramped though! I actually arrived late due to the BART, so I had some friends order for me - I had seen on their menu that their classic rolls were 6pc each, so I ordered 3 with the expectation of maybe ordering another + some nigiri before I'd be full, and boy was I proven wrong. I unfortunately don't have pictures since I was too busy eating, but the portions are absolutely humongous - a single piece is almost double the size of sushi you'd get anywhere else - and they certainly don't skimp on the fish. My Salmon Avocado rolls were practically 80-90% salmon, and were a two bite endeavor. Of my 3 rolls (California, Salmon Avocado, Spicy Tuna), I was only able to finish about 2 before I was stuffed - something extremely impressive since I typically order way more at other sushi spots. Not to mention, both the fish and the rice were very fresh, and the sashimi I tried from my friend were both thickly cut and had great flavor! Not to mention - my classic rolls were way more affordable than any other spot - being around 7$ each, my three rolls ended up being around 25$ ++! If this spot were closer to me, I would be making weekly trips. As it stands, this will probably be one of the sushi spots I recommend time and time again, and I will visit whenever I get the opportunity! I think this is a spot that warrants making a trip for, which my friends agreed with wholeheartedly.

I regularly crave Sendai. The fish is so fresh, tender, and thick. Pretty great value and the kind of spot you won't regret even if you spend $50. Definitely get Chu-toro, sake, o-toro. Would try the spicy scallop next time. Their sake is one of the fattiest salmon ever. Their rolls sound really generous with fish and original. Get the storm bringer roll. Would try next time the highway roll and in the sea roll.

Pretty good sushi spot here in Milpitas! Had come on a Tuesday night and there was no line. The sushi rolls here are really big and they are super generous with all the raw fish they put on it. I like how they emphasize on the menu which rolls are larger than average. The food also came out super fast which was a nice surprise since they were getting a bit busier. The staff was super nice and attentive to the point where my cup of tea was never empty!
